Terms

Terms for using this site.

These govern the website only. The work itself is governed by the agreement we sign with you, which is a different and much more specific document.

Terms of use

Short, in plain language, and honest about what a marketing website can and cannot promise you.

Scope

These terms apply to your use of the AI Lab website of The Creativity Lab. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, the correct response is to stop using it.

They do not govern an engagement. If we build something for you, that work runs under a separate written agreement covering scope, price, delivery, warranties, liability and data processing. Where the two ever conflict, that agreement wins.

Nothing here is an offer

Everything on this site is information, not a binding offer. Scope, pricing, timelines and terms are agreed in writing per project, after a conversation in which we understand what you actually need.

Sending a message through the contact form or requesting a call does not create a contract or reserve capacity. It starts a conversation.

What the case studies mean

This matters, so it gets its own section rather than a footnote.

  • Cases labelled as demo or placeholder describe fictional clients with illustrative numbers. They show how we scope, build and report on work. They are not claims about results achieved for a real customer.
  • Cases labelled as a live product describe real work. CalcAI is our own venture, designed, built and operated by the AI Lab, and its figures are measurable in the codebase.
  • No figure anywhere on this site is a forecast of what a system would achieve in your business. Results depend on your process, your data and your people.

The Concierge and the forms

The AI Concierge is an informational panel, not advice and not a support channel. It runs in your browser, nobody monitors it, and nothing you type into it reaches us. Do not use it to report an urgent problem, because no one will see it.

The contact and booking forms compose a message in your own mail application. Until you actually send that message, we have received nothing. The days offered in the booking pane are calculated in your browser and are not confirmed availability.

Intellectual property

The design, code, text, imagery and structure of this site belong to The Creativity Lab or to the parties we license them from. You may read it, link to it, and quote a reasonable extract with attribution.

You may not copy, republish or reuse it commercially without written permission. Client names and logos shown here belong to their owners.

Acceptable use

Use the site the way it was meant to be used. Specifically, please do not do any of the following.

  • Collect content from this site in bulk by automated means, or use it as training data for a machine learning model, without our written permission.
  • Send automated traffic that degrades the site for other people.
  • Attempt to gain access to anything not published here, or probe, scan or test the infrastructure without permission.
  • Use the forms to send unsolicited commercial mail, unlawful material or anything designed to mislead.
  • Present the content as your own, or imply an endorsement or partnership that does not exist.

Availability

This site is provided as it is. We keep it working and current to a professional standard, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of every error, or unchanged tomorrow. We may add, alter or remove content at any time.

Liability

To the extent Dutch law permits, we are not liable for loss arising from using this website or from relying on its content, including any decision taken on the basis of an illustrative figure in a case study.

Nothing here limits liability for intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Liability arising from actual work we deliver is dealt with in that project's agreement, not here.

Law and jurisdiction

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless a mandatory rule points somewhere else. We would very much rather solve it with an email first.

The Creativity Lab is registered in Amsterdam under Chamber of Commerce number 42039477. Questions about these terms go to hello@thecreativitylab.nl.
