Cookie policy
Dutch telecommunications law governs the storing and reading of information on your device, whether or not it is technically a cookie. That is why this page lists browser storage as well.
01The short version
This website sets no cookies. Not essential ones, not analytical ones, not marketing ones. It stores five small values in your browser so that the site works and remembers your choices, and none of them are sent to a server.
02Why this page exists anyway
Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act is about placing or reading information on a user's device. It does not say cookie. Local storage and session storage fall under the same rule, so a site that avoids cookies but uses browser storage still owes you an honest list.
The law exempts storage that is strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for, or that is purely functional and has no privacy consequence. Everything this site stores falls in that category, which is why the site works before you touch the banner.

That is the complete list. If you clear it, nothing breaks: the site simply forgets your language, asks about cookies again, and starts a fresh Concierge conversation.
04Analytics
There is none. No measurement script of any kind loads on this site, so we cannot tell you how many people read this sentence. That is a deliberate choice for now rather than an oversight.
The preferences dialog still offers an analytics switch, and it is off by default. It records your decision in advance, so that if product analytics is ever added, it is already governed by a choice you made rather than dropped on you with a new banner.
05Embedded content
No page currently embeds a third-party widget, so the embedded content switch does not appear in the preferences dialog. The mechanism is already built: an embed is held back until you allow it, and only then is its source loaded.
This matters most for a scheduling tool. The booking pane on the contact page is built to host one, and if a scheduler is connected later it will be treated as embedded content and stay blocked until you say yes.
06Connections that are not cookies
No external host is contacted when a page loads. Both typefaces, and every image and video, are served from our own domain, so no other company sees your IP address because of this site.
That is a deliberate build choice rather than a coincidence: self-hosting the typefaces and the media is what makes it possible to say that nothing loads before you have made a choice.
07Changing your choice
Your decision is stored for twelve months, after which we ask again. You can change it whenever you like using the Cookie preferences control at the bottom of every page, in the legal column of the footer.
Accepting all and choosing essential only are presented as equally sized, equally prominent buttons, because a choice that is visually rigged is not a choice.
You can also clear this site's storage in your browser settings, which removes everything in the table above at once.
08Changes
If this site ever starts setting a real cookie, this page is rewritten first and the banner asks before anything non-essential loads. The date at the top tells you when it last moved.
