The system

The AI drafts the quote. The engine guarantees the arithmetic. The owner presses send.

CalcAI pairs a language model with a hand-built calculation engine that covers 19 trades, each with its own pricing logic, rate band and VAT rule. The model reads the job description and proposes hours, an hourly rate and material amounts; the engine recomputes every subtotal, VAT line and total deterministically, so the quote always reconciles. If the model is unavailable, the trade's own engine calculates the whole quote. The result is a clean, white-label vector PDF in the owner's house style, sent from the platform, with quote history, client details and per-user data isolation underneath. Intelligence where it helps, precision where it matters.
